Meet Rev. Beverly Brock
It doesn’t take long to realize that Beverly is not from the Midwest. She hails from North Carolina and came to serve First Presbyterian Church of Foley in 2017. Prior to ministry Beverly received her undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and worked as a newspaper reporter for 10 years. She earned her Master’s of Divinity from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 2000. In her years of ministry, she has served as a solo pastor, a youth minister, and director of a soup kitchen. She has a passion for laughter, animals, and adventure.
