Ministry Teams
Get Involved - Everybody Welcome
Sunday School (Ages 3 - Adult)
Every Sunday from mid September through mid May, Sunday school is provided from 9:15 a.m.- 10:15 a.m. These classes provide biblically based lessons and activities appropriate for each age group.
Confirmation
This two-year program is for young teens as they are maturing and understanding their beliefs. It is an in-depth study of the Bible, church practices, and everyday living informed by their beliefs.
Mentors for Confirmation
Each confirmation student is paired with an adult who works with them through their lessons and sharing their faith and Christian beliefs. The mentor is with them through this faith journey.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
This 5-day program is offered during the summer and is focused around a central biblical theme. Chocked full of activities, games, crafts, and stories, the children have a fun learning experience led by caring adults.
Young United Presbyterians (YUPs)
Teenagers face a different set of challenges in life and YUPS helps them to understand their faith in this complicated world. It also gives the youth a healthy group to be in and to be themselves. They also participate in games, activities, community service, and local mission work to help them grow into well-rounded adults.
Nursery Team
Parents do not have to worry about their children when our nursery team provides a safe, clean, and fun place for young children to play or rest while parents are in worship.
Worship Team
The worship experience is multi-faceted and this team works to make worship meaningful and thought-provoking.
Music Ministry Team
Music is a critical part of any worship experience and this team works to provide music that coordinates with the theme of the day's worship. While we have a traditional style of worship, we are open to all gifts and talents in music and welcome variety.
Presbyterian Women
The backbone of the church since the beginning, the women's group meet once a month for a thoughtful Bible study and fellowship.
Kitchen Team
While Christ is the head of the church and worship is our praise of Him, the Kitchen Team provides the glue in our fellowship time with coffee and treats. This team also works with other teams like Vacation Bible School and Special Events to provide refreshments and supplies.
Events Team
From a Spring Carnival to a Christmas Toy Distribution, the Events Team provides outreach and ministry to the community around us.
Sudan Ministry Team
Partnering with a mission in South Sudan, our church provides simple dresses for girls of this war torn area as well over-the-counter medical supplies to villages and financial assistance for school scholarships.
